From a press release issued by Focus on Energy:
MADISON, Wis. (September 6, 2007) – Focus on Energy, Wisconsin’s energy efficiency and renewable energy initiative, is offering a new program that will benefit owners, developers and residents of multi-unit residential properties. Focus on Energy’s Apartment & Condo Efficiency Services Program offers information, technical expertise and financial incentives to help make these properties more energy efficient. Building owners enjoy lower operating costs, while residents benefit from a lower cost of living and a much more comfortable home.
“The Apartment & Condo Efficiency Services Program helps identify areas to improve a building’s energy efficiency,” said Carter Dedolph, Focus on Energy’s program manager for the Apartment & Condo Efficiency Services Program. “Our program can provide the necessary information to not only maximize energy efficiency, but reduce labor and operating costs, address property and equipment concerns and improve tenant comfort and satisfaction. The overall goal of the program is to help reduce energy use, operating costs and the environmental impact of these buildings throughout the state.”
