An article by Nathan Leaf in the Wisconsin State Journal reports on development of another Wisconsin ethanol plant:

A business group led by former Gov. Tommy Thompson is looking to get in on the ethanol craze with a proposed plant near the Wisconsin-Illinois border.

Global Renewable LLC, the Whitewater company led by Thompson, announced Friday that it plans to build a $195 million plant in Sharon, a Walworth County village about 20 miles east of Beloit. With a proposed work force of 55, the plant would produce up to 120 million gallons of ethanol each year, making it one of the largest plants in the state and consuming 38 million bushels of corn annually.
